President

TRAC is led by Robert Cohn, who brings with him 16 years of Recruiting and Leadership experience. Prior to founding TRAC, Robert was a Managing Partner of a large, Cleveland-based Executive Recruiting Firm. Robert was instrumental in growing that organization from six people to over 80 employees. During his tenure, he prided himself on his ability to motivate and mentor his co-workers in their quests to achieve not only their personal goals, but those of the company. His in-depth knowledge of industry perspectives, acumen at assessing potential talent, and his never diminishing thrill of making the right connection are just a few reasons that Robert is at the top of his field.

After a long and diverse path, Robert’s 25 year relationship to the service industry continues to this day as he strives to connect people and businesses. Robert started working at a pizza place in high school, then worked in various positions at hotels in Columbus, Ohio and finally moved back to Cleveland to help open and manage a fast paced national chain restaurant. His daily aspiration is to provide unsurpassed service to his clients, candidates and co-workers.

In his free time, Robert is the president of the Solon Soccer Club. He became involved through his two sons, ages 11 and 12, who are constant reminders of what it means to play fair and be competitive. Both boys keep Robert very busy, as they both play on two different soccer teams, travel basketball, travel baseball and still have time to play flag football. Cohn’s favorite thing to do is coach his kids’ or simply sit on the sidelines to cheer them on. He is a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and has made it a point to take his kids to at least one game a year since they were young. In addition, Robert is an avid golfer and a Cleveland Guardians, Cavs and Browns fan.

Nikki Sullen

Executive Recruiter

Nikki Sullen comes to TRAC Recruiters with 10 years of Corporate Leadership experience. She is exceptional in hiring, training, and people development. In her previous role Nikki managed the hiring process for over 15 locations while maintaining a retention rate of over 80%. Nikki’s success comes from her love of recruiting, her work ethic, and her passion for changing lives. She believes that hiring the “right talent” is one of the biggest keys to success.

Nikki began her career in the Cleveland Municipal School District before branching into Sales Management in the Virginia Beach area. After multiple years in sales Nikki relocated back to the Cleveland area. There, Nikki began her career in Multi-Unit Management and eventually was promoted to a role in the Indianapolis area. In this role Nikki wore many hats. She oversaw recruiting, retention, engagement, and problem resolution for 200+ employees, allowing her to master the skill of building relationships.

Nikki is a lover of all sports, but truly is a Cleveland Browns fan. She has a huge family and enjoys spending time with her significant other, daughter, nieces, and nephews. In her free time, Nikki loves to do puzzles, bowl, and roller skate. Nikki also has a passion for crafts and makes beaded Jewlery, hats, clothing, and blankets for family and friends.

Phil Clay

Phil brings over 20 years of real-world experience building successful teams to TRAC. Before becoming a recruiter, Phil forged a reputation for excellence as a multi-unit manager within the technology retail space. A natural born problem solver, his entrepreneurial spirit and innate interpersonal skills first revealed themselves when, as a young boy in Texas, he was exposed to his father growing a family business into a multi-million dollar company exclusively through relationships and hard work. During those formative years he truly began to grasp the intricate nuances associated with finding the best resolution for both sides in any business exchange.

Phil has spent his career dedicated to hiring, training, developing, and mentoring people and is passionate about helping them find their right place and the right way to maximize their success. Phil’s ability to quickly grasp new concepts and connect the dots makes him someone you want in your corner and on your hiring team. He’s been on both sides of the hiring equation, and that experience greatly contributes to his ability to understand implications and develop workable solutions. Phil prides himself in being easy to work with and making the often arduous process of interviews and filling positions simple and comfortable for his client companies and candidates. He loves working with candidates to find the best fit for their next chapter, and working hand-in-hand with talent acquisition and leadership to find the right people to fill open positions.

Phil also has a big heart. Just ask his lovely wife and any one of the seven rescue dogs (yes, seven) that are a beloved part of their family. Over the past 10 years, he and his wife have selflessly dedicated much of their free time and energy to dog rescue volunteer work and have provided a foster home for over 80 dogs that are now in happy forever homes. Phil also enjoys travelling all over the world, rooting for his Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and is an avid fantasy football manager.

McKenzie brings over 13 years of sales experience in multiple industries, where she has been extremely successful. She has worked in HR, Recruiting, Healthcare and B2B sales with Enterprise Holdings. In her previous role as a recruiter McKenzie specialized in placing mid-level to C-Suite Executives within the Healthcare, Accounting, Finance, IT and Human Resources Industries. She was instrumental in placing candidates with her clients in both contract and permanent positions, exceeding $400,000 in revenue yearly. Her success in recruiting is inspired by her passion to help individuals find their “forever” career. She does this with a very strong work ethic and her innate ability to problem solve. McKenzie has shown to be a valuable resource for anyone who is looking for career advancement, companies that are looking to find top talent and individuals that are simply looking to understand what’s going in the Accounting and Finance Industry.

McKenzie received her Associates Degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati. She then moved on to Northern Kentucky University, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. One of her biggest passions is rooting for her home team, Notre Dame and watching the games with her father. She is extremely excited to introduce her niece into the world in the fall and introduce her to the tradition of Notre Dame football. During her free time, she enjoys traveling the world. McKenzie’s biggest passion is spending time with her 6-year-old daughter. They enjoy going horseback riding and playing soccer together.
